Ross Surgenor was a well-known driver who contributed greatly, to the success of auto racing in this area as well as on the International level, during the 1960's and 1970's.

Noted for his smooth driving style; Ross won many major races, and championships in stockcars, super stocks and open competition super stocks. He was the first winner of the Canada 200.
